PaxPic serves as a meta-search engine and an AI augmentation studio tailored for the tourism and travel industry. PaxPic does not claim ownership, copyright, or licensing authority over any of the original images surfaced through our Sourcing Engine. Our platform simply queries and aggregates previews from popular open-source and free-to-use image libraries and links out to the original source.

Third-Party Stock Platform Terms

Images discovered through PaxPic are governed entirely by the licenses and Terms of Service of their respective platforms. Users are responsible for understanding and adhering to these terms when downloading and utilizing assets:

  • Unsplash: Images are free for commercial and non-commercial purposes. You are not permitted to sell unaltered copies of photos or compile them to replicate a similar or competing service. View Unsplash License.
  • Pexels: Free to use without attribution. You may not sell unaltered copies, portray identifiable people in a negative or offensive light, or imply endorsement of your product by people or brands inside the images. View Pexels License.
  • Pixabay: Content is released under the Pixabay License, making it safe to use without asking for permission, even for commercial purposes. Unaltered copies cannot be sold. View Pixabay License.
  • Openverse: Openverse searches across billions of Creative Commons licensed and public domain works. Licenses vary significantly per image (e.g., CC BY, CC BY-NC). Users are strictly responsible for verifying the specific Creative Commons license of a given work and providing appropriate attribution when required. View Openverse Terms.

AI Augmentation & Image Manipulation

The PaxPic AI Augmentation Studio allows users to upload their own images, or images sourced from third-party platforms, to manipulate, upscale, redesign, or otherwise alter the visual content. By utilizing this tool, users agree that:

  • When manipulating stock photography sourced from supported platforms, the resulting output may still be subject to the original license constraints (such as the inability to trademark the resulting image or use it in an offensive manner).
  • When uploading proprietary images, you represent that you hold the necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to upload and modify the asset.
  • PaxPic holds no liability for copyright infringement or licensing violations resulting from the use of generated, upscaled, or modified images in commercial products, advertisements, or booking funnels. The user retains all liability for the final usage of the asset.
